What I've been up to...

I'm making socks!! I kinda knocked sock knitting for a while and decided to give it a shot. I do like it, I don't anticipate knitting them all the time but so far so good. This photo is actually a couple days old, I have one sock done and actually about as far as the photo indicates on the second sock.

The yarn is Actual Size Sock from valutree on etsy. The colorway is Royal Tenenbaums, which makes me oh so very happy. I absolutely adore that film and ths yarn. Do you think Margot Tenenbaum would wear these socks? Perhaps Etheline would, definitely Pagoda.

Look who we met...

And it was hilarious and really fun.

In case you are wondering from left to right, my knitting pal extraordinaire Megan, me and my big potato head in the middle and of course, the lovely Yarn Harlot herself, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee.

We went, we saw, we laughed. We also worked on our two person Elizabeth Bennet KAL (details to come).

I promise to put up real live knitting soon. I'm in the process of properly photographing it now.

I'm at a loss for words...

I have a girl crush on Wenlan Chia.

It's true.

I came across her new designs for Classic Elite the other day and I think they are magnificent.

I feel the need to become a knitting hermit and not emerge until I have knit this. This would be so cute with jeans and flats.

I'm also in love with these:
I love all the bobbles.

This is cute but not for me. I don't like wearing dresses even with leggings.
Definitely a must knit.
I really don't like this one. If it was red Mrs. Claus could wear it. It's a bit Mrs. Claus meets figure skating.

I promise to post more and post some WIPs but right now I must get back to work.

BALLS!!!

I went to leave for work today and one of my front tires is flat.... I go to get my spare and this is what I find:

Lovely.

Yep, my spare is frozen into my trunk. I love winter. Unfortunately (or fortunately depends on which way you see it) I had to go into my office today but that's not happening now. I have to wait until one of my friends is awake and see if they can drive me to a tire shop so I can replace the tire at home. I live in a newer area and there isn't a bus stop near me or else I would just take the bus. Actual knitting content soon, I promise... Also let me know if you are actually reading this, that would be super. Thanks.
